Ask the property manager before the date is finalized—confirm the reserved hours, elevator size, key or operator procedure, required padding, deposit rules, and the route from the loading point to the unit.
Keep them away from open doors, carrying paths, ramps, and the vehicle—arrange a closed room or off-site care, and make sure the crew knows about any animal that could enter the work area unexpectedly.
Floor and entry protection should be selected for the day’s conditions—keep the path clear, identify any belongings sensitive to temperature or moisture, and tell the crew if a covered staging area is unavailable at either address.
Describe the driveway width, slope, surface, overhead clearance, and whether a truck can turn around—if the vehicle must remain at the street, give the carry distance and any gate or walkway between parking and the entrance.
Provide gate hours, visitor or vehicle rules, entry credentials, and the name of the person authorizing access—do not send a temporary code too early, and arrange a secure way to make it available when the crew is due.
